Assist Family Service Counselors with interment verifications, memorial blind checks, memorial coordination, and other cemetery service-related responsibilities to ensure families receive professional and compassionate service.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Meet with families and attend burial and cremation services as required.
• Coordinate with Family Service Counselors and Funeral Directors to arrange the transfer of cremated remains into urns.
• Follow up on memorial renderings, approvals, processing, and timelines to ensure timely completion.
• Conduct independent interment verifications in the cemetery prior to scheduled interments.
• Complete memorial blind checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with cemetery procedures.
• Communicate effectively with cemetery administration, maintenance teams, Family Service Counselors, and Funeral Directors to ensure all services are properly coordinated.
• Assist with other cemetery-related duties as required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Training and Certification

• Training will be provided on all required processes and procedures, including those outlined in the Family Service Guidebook, Interment Verification Procedures, memorial blind checks, and other applicable cemetery operational standards.

• Employees will be expected to successfully complete all required training and demonstrate competency in these procedures.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with associates, contractors, Funeral Directors, and client families.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while completing assigned tasks accurately and on time.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to identify and resolve routine issues promptly and effectively.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and operational requirements.
• Ability to demonstrate compassion, professionalism, and sensitivity when assisting families.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Pay

• $26.50 per hour and up depending on qualifications and relevant experience.
