Job Statement
We’re hiring a Regional Sales Manager – DJI Enterprise (Public Safety) to drive growth across Canada’s public-safety market. This field-based role focuses on developing opportunities with end users, supporting authorized resellers, and building relationships with law enforcement, fire services, emergency management, and search-and-rescue organizations. Regular travel across Canada and occasional international travel are required.
Responsibilities
· Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve organizational revenue and growth targets, including accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and structured 90-day strategic account planning.
· Identify and develop opportunities with law enforcement, fire services, emergency management organizations, search-and-rescue teams, and other public-safety agencies.
· Proactively monitor and manage key deals, while analyzing market trends and competitor activity to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for commercial advantage.
· Build, maintain, and strengthen strategic relationships with customers and vendor partners at both distribution and reseller levels, ensuring consistently high service standards and customer satisfaction.
· Collaborate closely with marketing and brand management teams to align go-to-market initiatives, support vendor activities, and accelerate market penetration.
· Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and generate new opportunities.
· Provide regular, detailed strategic reporting to senior leadership, including updates on key account performance, pipeline health, risks, and growth opportunities.
Qualifications
· 5+ years experience in B2B Sales, in the UAV industry.
· Proven experience selling into Public Safety market.
· Strong understanding of consultative and solution-based selling, including complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
· Familiarity with public-sector procurement processes, tenders, demonstrations, evaluations, and budgeting cycles.
· Working knowledge of the DJI Enterprise ecosystem their applications in public safety, including situational awareness, thermal imaging, mapping, incident response, and remote operations.
· Knowledge of Canadian drone regulations and operational requirements is an asset
· A university or college degree in business, technology, public safety, or a related discipline - or equivalent relevant professional experience - is preferred.
· Technical knowledge and proficiency with Office 365.
· Strong interpersonal skills: team player, people-focused, approachable, and empathetic.
· Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
· Ability to work under pressure, manage time effectively, and organize tasks efficiently.
· Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French is a strong asset or requirement, depending on the territory.
