Job Description

Please note this is a fixed term contract position with an estimated duration of 6 months.

Enter client and lab supplied data into the LIMS system to produce sample labels, work orders, work sheets, and various reports.
Print and send acknowledgements of the receipt of samples to the client.
Check work instructions, method code, reporting, pricing and invoicing instructions with respect to sales quotations, client instructions and client profile information.
File work orders, client correspondence and other information relating to the work order in the appropriate filing cabinets.
Report completed test results in accordance with client instructions.
Prepare Final Reports for the client.
Accountable for accurate and timely data input.
Follow all company health, safety and environmental policies.
May be asked to act as backup for reception or other administrative areas when required.
May be assigned and coordinate special or ad hoc projects as needed

Qualifications

Education: Post-secondary education
Experience: Greater than two years administrative experience.
Worked for Geo-Chemistry lab preferred.
Knowledge of basic chemistry is an asset.

Salary: $20 - $24 per hour

Requirements
