In This Role, You Will

Design and implement forward-thinking strategic plans that support meaningful partnerships with internal partners, government, media, and community organizations. Your efforts will enhance the organization’s reputation, build trust, and support Shannex’s five-year strategic plan
Lead the development and execution of community engagement strategies that foster an environment where the voices of residents, patients and their families, and internal and external partners are heard
Build and maintain relationships with government, public, media and community organizations, and recognize opportunities for growing these partnerships.
Establish and nurture strong relationships with the internal leadership team. Proactively identify needs and develop plans to ensure audiences can access, understand, and meaningfully engage with information
Take charge of issue management and provide support in media relations. Serve as the organization’s spokesperson when required, representing our values with integrity and clarity, and maintaining open channels of communication
Analyze health care, longevity principles, long-term care, and seniors’ living sectors to identify emerging trends and provide strategic insights that inform planning and decision-making
Prioritize workflow, manage multiple projects and complete time-sensitive tasks.
Create compelling and informative content for a variety of platforms, including briefing notes, speaking notes, and materials for senior leadership

An undergraduate degree or college diploma in Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Concevrez et mettrez en œuvre des plans stratégiques novateurs favorisant des partenariats solides avec les équipes internes, les gouvernements, les médias et les organismes communautaires. Dirigerez l’élaboration et la mise en œuvre de stratégies d’engagement communautaire favorisant un environnement où la voix des résidents, des patients, de leurs familles ainsi que des partenaires internes et externes est entendue.
Établirez et maintiendrez des relations avec les organismes gouvernementaux, le public, les médias et les organisations communautaires, tout en identifiant des occasions de renforcer ces partenariats.
Développerez des relations solides avec l’équipe de direction interne. Vous anticiperez les besoins et élaborerez des plans afin que les différents publics puissent accéder à l’information, la comprendre et s’y engager de façon significative.

Ce que vous apportez

En plus d’accorder une grande importance à l’amélioration continue, à la collaboration et à la responsabilisation, vous possédez :

Un baccalauréat ou un diplôme collégial en relations publiques, en marketing ou dans un domaine connexe, ou une combinaison équivalente de formation et d’expérience.
Un minimum de cinq (5) années d’expérience progressive dans des rôles en communications.
D’excellentes habiletés de communication, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit, en anglais et en français.
Une expérience ou une formation en engagement communautaire et en relations médias, considérée comme un atout.
Une passion pour le secteur des soins de santé et/ou le désir de contribuer à ce que les aînés aient accès à des logements, des services et des soins de qualité.
