What’s the role
Leadership Accountability, Performance Ownership and technical Authority
The PET Manager is a results-driven leader with strong technical authority who establishes clear performance ownership, expectations and outcomes across Projects, Engineering and Technology (Process Engineering and Process Control).
This leader translates asset strategies, reliability insights and engineering data into priorities, actions and measurable results, reinforcing that results count not effort.
They actively eliminate decision paralysis through clear prioritization (stop, start, do less) and drive pace, urgency and accountability for delivery.

They establish a balanced risk appetite for a manufacturing environment-moving the organization away from zero risk tolerance toward risk-based decision-making that protects the asset while enabling the value creation.
This leader brings the technical capability to guide the engineering team to define problems, proactively mitigate risk, develop short-term controls, and drive robust longer-term engineering solutions.
