Role Description This on-site Pharmacist role is located in Regina, SK. The Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing prescription medications accurately, providing medication counselling, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and interpreting prescriptions, maintaining patient medication profiles, and collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes. The role also involves overseeing pharmacy inventory, managing controlled substances, and supporting pharmacy assistants and technicians. The Pharmacist will contribute to a positive customer experience by offering professional, respectful, and confidential service to all patients.
Qualifications
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Pharmacist in Saskatchewan, with a degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
- Strong clinical knowledge of medications, drug interactions, and pharmaceutical care practices.
- Proficiency in prescription processing systems, pharmacy software, and basic computer applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide clear patient counselling and collaborate with healthcare teams.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, accuracy in dispensing, and commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment, prioritize tasks, and support a team-oriented workplace.
- Experience in community pharmacy or retail pharmacy settings is an asset.
