Finance Manager Opportunity!!!!!!

The momentum is building at The Brand NEW Dartmouth Mitsubishi!

As the first automotive dealership ever built in Dartmouth Crossing, and the newest addition to Shift Auto Group, we're already seeing great traction and an exciting response from customers. Located directly across from IKEA Halifax, this brand-new dealership is off to a strong start, and we're growing our team to make sure we have the right people in place to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

We're looking for an experienced, customer-focused Finance Manager to join our team and play an important role in our continued success.

This is an opportunity to join a dealership in its early stages, help establish the standards we're known for, and make a real impact as the business grows. If you enjoy building relationships, developing people, finding solutions, and creating great customer experiences, we'd love to meet you!

What You'll Do

As our Finance Manager, you'll guide customers through one of the most important parts of their vehicle purchase. You'll help make the financing and delivery process straightforward, transparent, and enjoyable while working closely with the Sales Team to drive dealership performance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Guide customers through the financing and vehicle delivery process, making sure they feel informed, confident, and well taken care of
  • Present financing solutions, extended warranties, and vehicle protection products that meet our customers' needs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with lenders and financial institutions to secure competitive financing options
  • Structure deals, maximize opportunities, and help drive overall dealership performance
  • Complete all finance, licensing, warranty, and registration documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Work closely with the Sales Team to create a seamless experience from the initial customer interaction through delivery
  • Coach and support Sales Consultants on finance products, deal structure, and the overall customer experience
  • Ensure all transactions meet dealership policies, lender requirements, and industry regulations
  • Support daily dealership operations and leadership responsibilities, including opening and closing when required

  • What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who brings experience, confidence, and a genuine passion for helping people. Someone who takes ownership, leads by example, and understands that strong results come from doing things the right way.

    You bring:

    • Experience in automotive finance, sales, or dealership management
    • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
    • A customer-first mindset and a commitment to honesty, integrity, and transparency
    • The ability to structure deals, find solutions, and work through challenges
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
    • Experience with Dealer Management Systems (DMS), CRM platforms, and lender portals
    • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record

    Compensation & Benefits

We believe in rewarding great people for the impact they make. This opportunity offers a competitive earning potential of $150,000–225,000, plus performance-based incentives.

    Additional benefits include:

    • Comprehensive Health, Life, and Dental benefits
    • Ongoing manufacturer training and leadership development
    • Career advancement opportunities throughout Shift Auto Group's growing network
    • A state-of-the-art, brand-new dealership facility
    • Employee recognition programs and team events
    • The opportunity to help shape and grow a dealership from the ground up

If you're ready to be part of an exciting new dealership, and make your mark from the beginning, we'd love to hear from you. Stop by or email jason.murphy@dartmouthmitsubishi.com.
