Shipped is building an intelligence layer for the physical world, using AI, computer vision and spatial technologies to make real-world environments understandable and interactive.
We have a working prototype, are developing real-world pilots and partnerships, and are now building the technical foundation for the next stage of the platform.
The Role
We’re looking for an exceptional Founding Engineer, Physical AI + Computer Vision to work directly with the founder and help define and build Shipped’s core technology.
You’ll work across challenging problems involving computer vision, AI, spatial computing and real-time interactive systems, with significant influence over architecture and technical direction.
This is a founding-team role for someone who wants to build, experiment and help shape an ambitious technology company from an early stage.
Who We're Looking For
You might have experience in areas such as computer vision, machine learning, spatial computing, robotics, graphics, 3D systems or real-time applications.
Strong experience with technologies such as Python, C++, C#, PyTorch, OpenCV, Unity, Unreal or related tools is valuable, but we're not looking for someone who checks every box.
More important is your ability to solve difficult technical problems, prototype quickly and turn research or emerging technology into products that work in the real world.
Where We Are
Shipped is early stage, with a working prototype, active pilot and partnership development, and pre-seed fundraising underway.
We're a member of NVIDIA Inception and are building within the emerging Physical AI and spatial intelligence ecosystem.
Toronto preferred, with flexibility for exceptional candidates across Canada or the U.S.
Compensation
Founding-team opportunity with meaningful equity. Cash compensation is dependent on financing and level of involvement.
