Original job description

About ShyftLabs

ShyftLabs is a fast-growing data product and AI company founded in 2020. We partner with Fortune 500 companies across industries to build digital solutions that accelerate growth, with a focus on creating real value through innovation.

The Role

We’re looking for a resourceful, curious Business Development Intern to join our Toronto team. You’ll work directly with our SVP and Strategy team on the work that drives our growth: shaping strategic narratives, building sales materials, researching new markets, and supporting pipeline development. If you want a hands-on look at how a B2B technology business scales, this role puts you at the center of it.

\nWhat You’ll Do

Partner with the SVP and Strategy team on internal business initiatives, strategic narratives, and sales prospecting strategy.
Build clear, concise, and visually compelling sales decks, use case presentations, and collateral.
Conduct market research on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive positioning.
Identify target customers and market segments, research key accounts, map decision-makers, and develop customer profiles.
Explore use cases and market whitespace to uncover new vertical opportunities for ShyftLabs.
Draft engaging LinkedIn and social media content covering product updates, brand messaging, and thought leadership.
Execute targeted email campaigns and outreach to support lead generation and pipeline growth.

What We’re Looking For

Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a business-related program at a college or university.
Strong presentation and slide-building skills.
Clear, concise writing.
Analytical and research skills.
Self-motivated and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Inclusion at ShyftLabs

We’re building something big, and we want you on the journey with us. If you’re ready to use data and innovation to make an impact, apply today and let’s grow together.

ShyftLabs is an equal-opportunity employer committed to creating a safe, diverse, and inclusive environment. We encourage applicants of all backgrounds including ethnicity, religion, disability status, gender identity, sexual orientation, family status, age, and nationality to apply. If you require accommodation during the interview process, let us know and we’ll be happy to support you.
