Change the future with us.

We are looking for dedicated and talented people who tackle ever-changing challenges, customer needs, and questions from colleagues with clever concepts and creativity. We embrace change and work with curious minds re-inventing the future of work. Join us and let us focus together on what’s truly important: making lives better with new ideas and the latest technology around the world.

What will you do?

Are you a Building Automation specialist with deep expertise in BAS programming, commissioning, and controls who is ready to lead larger projects? We are looking for a Technical Project Manager - Building Automation Systems (BAS) who can combine hands-on technical leadership with project and financial management. In this role, you will serve as both the technical authority and project leader, ensuring complex building automation systems are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards within a security-sensitive airport environment requiring Transport Canada Security Clearance.

In this unique hybrid role, you will be the primary driver of project success. You won't just be managing schedules and budgets from a desk, you will be on-site, leading a technical team, supporting clients with energy-saving initiatives, and ensuring that our DDC systems are programmed and commissioned to the highest standards. You are the technical heartbeat of the project and the financial steward of its success.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Hands-on Technical Support: Perform and oversee system start-ups, programming, and troubleshooting for complex BAS installations.

Client Advisory: Act as a technical consultant for clients, identifying opportunities for automation initiatives, energy savings, and DDC capability expansion.

Project & Financial Management

Project Lifecycle: Review contract documents to schedule deliverables, estimate costs, and manage the project from start-up through to warranty.

Budget Oversight: Manage project revenue forecasting, gross margins, and material budgets to achieve monthly and annual business plans.

Resource Management: Determine staffing and tool needs, providing direction to subcontractors and guidance to on-site contractors.

Safety & Compliance: Oversee all on-site and off-site construction to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.

Sales & Stakeholder Collaboration

Customer Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for project delivery, fostering strong relationships and mitigating issues.

Sales Support: Provide technical and operational expertise to sales teams, helping define scope and pricing for new project opportunities.

Training: Conduct development classes for customers on-site to ensure they are proficient in their new systems.

Location: Primarily supporting projects in the Calgary Airport Authority, Calgary Alberta.
