As a group of passionate technology developers, successful entrepreneurs, and industry experts, SiftMed is scaling quickly. We build AI-powered software that organizes, categorizes, and analyzes medical files - helping teams find facts in medical data that can change lives.

Pipeline is the lifeline of our business, and this role sits at the very front of it. As a BDR, you'll find the med-legal and insurance organizations that are drowning in medical records, get them on the phone, and earn the meeting. You're also often the first person a prospect interacts with at SiftMed, making you an important reflection of our brand. How you show up matters.

This is one of the most direct paths into a sales career at SiftMed. You'll learn our market, our customers, our product, and what it takes to build pipeline from the ground up.

What You Will Be Doing

Build Pipeline & Book Qualified Meetings

Own an outbound-heavy motion across calls, email, and LinkedIn into named accounts within our ICP.
Research accounts and prioritize ruthlessly - find the ten that matter in a list of three hundred.
Write personalized outreach, test what works, and consistently maintain activity levels.
Run cold calls that uncover real business needs and end with a clear meeting ask.
Qualify meetings carefully and provide AEs with context they can actually use.
Follow up on no-shows, reschedules, and warm-but-not-yet accounts.

Work Inbound & Marketing-Sourced Leads

Respond quickly to inbound and marketing-sourced leads and qualify them with the same rigour as outbound.
Turn conference, webinar, and association leads into conversations and meetings.
Close the loop with Marketing on what's converting.

Learn the Market & Make the Team Better

Build working knowledge of our segments and how they think about medical record review.
Bring back objections, competitive intelligence, and messaging that lands.
Share what's working and keep Salesforce clean and current.

AI Fluency + Application

AI is at the core of what we build, and we expect you to use it too.

Use AI for research, list building, personalization, call preparation, and follow-up.
Use AI to move faster without sounding like a bot. Generic AI-written outreach is worse than no outreach.
Experiment with new AI-enabled prospecting tools and share what works.

What We're Looking For

0–3 years of experience. New grads, career switchers, and current BDRs are welcome.
Comfort with high-volume outbound and measurable targets.
Competitive drive and resilience - you enjoy working toward a number and don't let rejection slow you down.
Coachability and curiosity - you take feedback, learn quickly, and figure things out.
Strong communication and executive presence - you're confident speaking with senior decision-makers.
Team-first mindset - you want to win as a team and actively help those around you improve.
AI fluency - you've demonstrated that you use AI to improve your workflow.

It Would Be Great If You Have Experience In

BDR or SDR experience carrying an outbound meeting or pipeline quota.
Previous sales experience, or customer-facing work in support, service, hospitality, retail, or a similar environment.
Insurance, healthcare, legal, or other regulated industries.
Salesforce and outbound tools such as Apollo, Nooks, Outreach, or Salesloft.
Prospecting into US and Canadian markets.
Early-stage or high-growth startup environments.

What Success Looks Like

First 90 Days

Phone-ready within two weeks: You know the talk track, ICP, and product well enough to run live calls.
Days 15–45: Your outbound motion is running, with your first qualified meetings booked and attended.
Days 45–90: You're consistently creating meetings and sales-accepted pipeline at full productivity.

First 6 Months

You're consistently hitting or beating your qualified meeting and pipeline targets.
AEs trust the meetings you book because your qualification and handoffs are strong.
You're a credible source of market intelligence on objections, competitors, and messaging.
You're contributing to a high-performing team and building a strong foundation for the next step in your sales career.
