SDET - Automation Developer

Location is Brampton, ON (Hybrid – 3 days Onsite/week)

1. Automation Tester (STB & Media Validation)

  • Positions: 8
  • Domain Focus: STB, Connected TV, OTT Streaming & Smart Home Devices
  • Key Highlights:
  • Platforms & Testing: STB, Smart TVs (Fire TV, Apple TV), iOS, Android, and Web platforms.
  • Protocols & Streaming: HLS, DASH, DRM, CDN, and Adaptive Bitrate Streaming.
  • Log & Debugging Tools: ADB Logcat, Kibana, Splunk, Charles Proxy, and Wireshark.
  • Core Tech/DB: Basic networking fundamentals (Wi-Fi, IP, DNS, DHCP) and Jira test management.

2. Automation Developer (Python & Cross-Platform SDET)

  • Positions: 2
  • Domain Focus: Cross-Platform Service Validation Automation (OTT, Mobile, Web, Broadband)
  • Key Highlights:
  • Automation Tools: Python, Selenium, Appium, REST APIs & Microservices.
  • Databases & Architecture: PostgreSQL databases, Java-based automation components, and messaging frameworks.
  • CI/CD & DevOps: Jenkins, GitHub, Git, Jira, and Xray.
  • Advanced Concepts: AI-assisted automation, intelligent test generation, and packet capture debugging.

  • Domain Focus: AI-Powered Video/Audio Analysis & Autonomous Validation Platform
  • Key Highlights:
  • AI & Vision: Python, Generative AI, Agentic AI, OpenCV, and Tesseract OCR.
  • Video Processing: Video capture, encoding, compression, and pipelines using GStreamer & FFmpeg.
  • Platform Features: AI failure classification, automated RCA, video quality analysis, and explainability/audit trails.
  • Architecture: REST-based microservices, multi-step autonomous reasoning, and context intelligence data storage.

  • Scripting & Cloud/Virtualization: PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible, VMware/KVM, AWS, Azure, or GCP, Infrastructure-as-Code.
