Senior QA Automation Engineer / Lead – eCommerce Payments

We are hiring a hands-on Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead QA for Adyen payment projects on a large global eCommerce platform for a leading consumer brand.

What you’ll do-

  • Lead and coordinate the QA team, including offshore resources, and drive testing quality and release readiness
  • Create, execute and maintain functional test cases for Adyen payment projects, including API testing, Boomi / web services integrations, Manhattan Active Omni (MAO) and Revenue Recognition (RevRec) changes
  • Perform end-to-end testing for Adyen payment integrations across the eCommerce platform for all supported countries and new payment methods
  • Run comprehensive regression testing across global eCommerce sites to ensure payment stability
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by validating business requirements and resolving issues
  • Update and enhance existing automation frameworks and test suites for Adyen payment workflows across Digital and IT platforms
  • Develop UI and API automated tests to improve regression coverage and release quality
  • Validate payment gateways, payment processors and the complete order life cycle
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Perform backend validation using SQL to verify transaction data and order processing
  • Work with developers, business analysts and product teams to identify defects and troubleshoot issues

What you bring

  • 6–8+ years of QA / Quality Engineering experience in eCommerce, with strong hands-on skills
  • Experience as a project or QA lead, coordinating with offshore resources
  • Strong UI and API automation experience using Python and Playwright (or comparable frameworks)
  • Strong eCommerce payment testing experience, including payment gateways and processors
  • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) or other Salesforce eCommerce platforms
  • Experience with MAO (Manhattan Active Omni), Distributed Order Management or other Order Management Systems (OMS)
  • Demonstrated experience automating validation of the complete order life cycle: order placement, payment authorization, fulfillment, shipment, cancellation, returns and refunds
  • Solid understanding of OOP and the Page Object Model (POM)
  • Experience with BDD (Cucumber / Gherkin)
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (for example, GitHub Actions)
  • Strong SQL skills for backend data validation
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills

Preferred

  • Experience with Adyen payment implementations
  • Knowledge of Boomi integrations and web services
  • Experience with Revenue Recognition (RevRec) validation
  • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum
  • Advanced database or data-warehouse testing experience
  • AWS certification (for example, Cloud Practitioner or Developer)
