Job Title: Java Full Stack Developer (Java + React)
Job Type : Fulltime
Client Location: Mississauga, ON, Canada
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days onsite/week
Salary: CAD $110,000–$120,000/year
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Java Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and React.js to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in backend development, frontend technologies, REST APIs, and database management.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using React.js.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams.
- Implement application security and best coding practices.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to technical discussions.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Java (8/11/17 or above).
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate/JPA.
- Strong frontend development experience with React.js.
- Good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript.
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
- Knowledge of Microservices architecture.
- Experience with SQL databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Kafka or other messaging platforms.
- Exposure to automated testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, and Jest.
