Hiring: Senior Java Developer – Spring Boot / Microservices
Location: Mississauga ON
Experience: 8+ Years
We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture to build scalable, high-performance enterprise applications.
Must-Have Skills
- 8+ years of experience in Java Development
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot & Microservices
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design principles
- Strong knowledge of Java Standard Library, Data Structures, and Algorithms
- Experience with REST APIs / SOAP Web Services
- Database experience with Oracle / MongoDB
- Microservices architecture, design patterns, Docker & Kubernetes
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Tools: TeamCity, JIRA & Git
- Knowledge of cloud platforms
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications
- Build and enhance microservices using Spring Boot
- Design and integrate REST/SOAP web services
- Develop efficient database solutions using Oracle and MongoDB
- Apply OOP principles, design patterns, and best practices
- Support containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile delivery
- Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and technical design discussions
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
