Location: Toronto, ON (in office)

About Us

Sixty Degree Capital is a Toronto-based venture capital firm that partners with founders building category-defining companies. Our team is small, fast-moving, and collaborative. Every role here directly shapes how we operate.

The Role

We're looking for an Executive Assistant to be a trusted right hand to our senior leadership team. You'll manage complex calendars, anticipate needs, and keep our leaders focused on their highest-value work. You'll also provide administrative support to the broader team when needed. This role suits someone who enjoys being at the centre of the action, handles confidential information with discretion, and takes pride in running things flawlessly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage complex, frequently changing calendars for multiple senior leaders, prioritizing competing requests with sound judgment.
  • Coordinate meetings with founders, limited partners, co-investors, and portfolio companies, including agendas, briefing materials, and follow-ups.
  • Arrange domestic and international travel, including detailed itineraries and expense reconciliation.
  • Act as a professional first point of contact for external stakeholders by phone, email, and in person.
  • Draft, proofread, and format correspondence, presentations, and reports to a high standard.
  • Support planning and logistics for investor meetings, board meetings, and firm events.
  • Maintain organized, confidential filing systems and track action items through to completion.
  • Provide administrative support to the wider team as priorities allow.

What You Bring

  • At least three years of experience as an Executive Assistant, ideally supporting senior leaders in venture capital, private equity, financial services, a law firm, or a corporate environment.
  • Completion of a post-secondary diploma or degree is required; an undergraduate degree is preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, with strong attention to tone, grammar, and detail.
  • A polished, professional presence and the judgment to represent the firm with senior executives, founders, and investors.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities for several leaders at once.
  • Absolute discretion with sensitive and confidential information.
  • A proactive, anticipatory approach. You see what’s needed before you’re asked.
  • A team player who is willing to help out when needed and step in to support the team across a variety of tasks as required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. Experience with CRM tools is an asset.
  • Availability to work full-time, in office, in Toronto.

Why Join Us

  • Direct exposure to senior leadership and the inner workings of venture capital.
  • A high-trust, high-impact role on a small, collaborative team.
  • The opportunity to gain exposure to venture capital investing in the healthcare and technology sectors.
  • Competitive compensation.
