Skanna Systems & Investigations Inc. is currently looking for a Part-Time Security Guard in Calgary, Alberta.
Schedule
Schedule
- PART-TIME.
- NIGHTS (10:00 PM TO 6:00 AM).
- Must be available for Wed, Fri, Sat and Sun.
- Use telecommunications (i.e. two-way radio, cell phone, telephone paging systems). Enforce regulations of establishments.
- Respond to alarms, bomb threats, and other emergencies.
- Access Control.
- Maintain order and follow and adhere to post orders.
- Follow radio and emergency telephone procedures.
- Monitor security cameras.
- Operate security control room equipment.
- Patrolling.
- Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed.
- Detect or prevent thefts and vandalism.
- Report writing.
- Must possess a valid Security Guard License.
- CPR Level C Certified.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional work ethics.
- Must be able to stand for long periods.
- Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new computer programs site-specific.
- Excellent Customer Service.

Responsibilities
Enforce site regulations and post orders, control access, monitor cameras, patrol the premises, and operate security control room equipment. Respond to alarms and emergencies, follow communication and safety procedures, help prevent theft and vandalism, and prepare reports.
Requirements
A valid Security Guard License and CPR Level C certification are required. Candidates should have strong English communication, computer, and customer service skills, professional work ethics, and the ability to stand for long periods and learn site-specific programs.
