Responsibilities
Lead the development and continuous improvement of electrical maintenance, reliability, protection, and power systems programs across the Eskay Creek project. Manage electrical asset performance, condition monitoring, critical spares, contingency and outage response planning, commissioning, safety compliance, budgets, contractors, and team development.
Requirements
Requires at least 10 years of progressive electrical maintenance experience, preferably in mining or heavy industry, with expertise in power distribution, protection systems, predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, and backup power infrastructure. A certificate, diploma, or degree in electrical engineering, power engineering, or a related discipline - or equivalent relevant experience - is required; a journeyman electrician certification is an asset, as are leadership skills and knowledge of applicable Canadian and British Columbia electrical and mine safety codes.
