Tasks
- Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs
- Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse
- Empty trash cans and other waste containers
- Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings
- Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
- Advertise vacancy
- Balance rent roll
- Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
- Perform minor repairs on appliances
- Perform safety and security checks
- Show apartments and offices to prospective tenants
- Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies
- Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
- Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
- Work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities
Maintain apartment and condominium properties by cleaning common areas, handling waste, tending grounds, and clearing snow and ice. Perform minor repairs and safety checks, coordinate contractors for major repairs, manage vacancies and rent rolls, and show units to prospective tenants.
Requirements
Requires a secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience and 3 to less than 5 years of experience, including cleaning work experience. Candidates must be willing to relocate, work on-site in all weather conditions, pass a criminal record check, and be able to handle physically demanding tasks and loads up to 23 kg.
