Tasks
- Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs
- Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse
- Empty trash cans and other waste containers
- Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings
- Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
- Advertise vacancy
- Balance rent roll
- Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
- Perform minor repairs on appliances
- Perform safety and security checks
- Show apartments and offices to prospective tenants
- Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies
- Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
- Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
- Work with minimal supervision
- Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas

Maintain apartment and condominium properties by cleaning common areas, removing waste and snow, tending to grounds, and completing routine repairs. Support property operations by coordinating contractors, managing rent rolls and vacancies, showing units, and conducting safety and security checks.
Requirements
Requires a secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience and at least five years of experience. Candidates must be dependable, organized, flexible, and able to communicate effectively, work with minimal supervision, and handle physically demanding tasks and loads up to 23 kg.
