About the Opportunity

Skyline Recruitment is supporting a well-funded mining and exploration company with the appointment of Project Geologists to join a high-profile exploration project in Ontario.

This is an excellent opportunity for geologists looking to join an active, well-supported exploration program with significant drilling activity and strong long-term potential.

The role will be based on a FIFO / camp rotation and will involve hands-on responsibility across core logging, geological interpretation, sampling, QA/QC, and day-to-day support of active exploration programs.

We are interested in speaking with geologists who enjoy being close to the geology, working within fast-paced drill programs, and taking ownership of high-quality technical work in the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete detailed geological and geotechnical core logging
  • Support active diamond drilling programs
  • Select and prepare samples for laboratory analysis
  • Maintain strong QA/QC standards across sampling and geological data
  • Review and validate geological information and drilling data
  • Assist with geological interpretation and ongoing model development
  • Ensure geological databases and records are accurate and up to date
  • Work closely with senior geologists, exploration management, drill contractors, and field teams
  • Support drill targeting and ongoing exploration planning where appropriate
  • Contribute to technical reporting and project documentation
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, Geological Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Professional experience within mineral exploration or mining
  • Strong core logging and geological interpretation experience
  • Experience working with diamond drilling programs
  • Good understanding of sampling procedures and QA/QC
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality geological records
  • Comfortable working in a remote camp environment on a rotational schedule
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Gold exploration experience would be highly advantageous
  • Experience working on Canadian hard-rock exploration projects would be beneficial

Both intermediate and more experienced Project Geologists are encouraged to apply.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

  • Join a significant exploration project in Ontario
  • Work within a well-funded and active drilling program
  • FIFO / camp-based rotational schedule
  • Strong technical exposure across drilling, logging, interpretation, and exploration
  • Opportunity to work alongside an experienced geological team
  • Long-term career development potential as the project advances
