About the Opportunity
Skyline Recruitment is partnering with a reputable residential builder in Metro Vancouver to hire an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in wood-frame, multi-family, and townhouse construction.

You’ll join an established development and construction group with a steady pipeline of multi-family wood-frame projects across the Lower Mainland.
As the Project Manager, you will oversee budgeting, scheduling, procurement, stakeholder coordination, and overall project execution to deliver high-quality residential buildings on time and within budget.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will guide the complete management of wood-frame residential projects, ensuring alignment across design teams, site personnel, trades, suppliers, and ownership groups. You will champion communication, schedule control, cost management, and successful construction delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full project lifecycle management for wood-frame residential developments.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and risk assessments.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, trades, and suppliers throughout the project.
- Manage contracts, change orders, RFIs, and documentation using project management platforms.
- Oversee tendering, trade award processes, and procurement strategies.
- Conduct site meetings, monitor construction progress, and resolve issues proactively.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, municipal requirements, and health & safety standards.
- Collaborate closely with Site Superintendents to maintain quality, sequencing, and execution.
- Provide regular progress reports to internal leadership and ownership teams.
- Support project close-out procedures including deficiency management and turnover.
What We’re Looking For
- 7–12 years of construction experience, including 3+ years in a Project Manager role overseeing wood-frame residential projects.
- Strong understanding of multi-family construction sequencing, budgeting, scheduling, and procurement.
- Experience with developer-builder or general contractor environments in BC.
- Solid knowledge of BC Building Code, municipal processes, and inspections.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Procore, MS Project, or similar.
- Education in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related fields is an asset.
Why Apply?
- Join a respected residential developer-builder with a long-term project pipeline.
- Play a key leadership role in building high-quality multi-family wood-frame communities.
- Work in a collaborative environment with strong internal support and resources.
- Competitive salary of $140,000–$165,000 plus comprehensive benefits.
- Opportunity for long-term career growth within a stable and well-established organization.
