- Install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles and shakes and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings
- Install single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials, such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions
- Repair or replace shingles and shakes on sloped roofs of buildings
- Repair or replace single-ply roofing systems
- Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
- Install sheet metal flashings
- Estimate costs and materials
- Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms

Responsibilities
Install, repair, and replace built-up, shingle, tile, single-ply, and metal roofing systems. Estimate project costs and materials, install sheet metal flashings, and erect scaffolding and other work platforms.
Requirements
Requires a secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience and 1 to less than 2 years of experience. Work is on-site in noisy, dusty, outdoor conditions.
