Job Title: Senior Principal, Salesforce Digital – Canada (For Vacant Role)

What You’ll Do

As the Senior Principal, Salesforce Digital – Canada, you will serve as a market-facing leader representing Slalom’s Salesforce Digital capabilities across the Canadian market. Based in Toronto, you will bring deep expertise in marketing technology and customer engagement while representing the broader Salesforce Digital portfolio across Marketing, Commerce, Loyalty, Experience, and Contentful. You will partner closely with Canadian market and account leaders, Salesforce, clients, and Slalom’s broader Salesforce Digital leadership to identify opportunities, shape solutions, and drive growth. This role requires someone who can move fluidly between customer and marketing strategy, technical solutioning, delivery, and consultative selling - connecting business needs to executable technology solutions.

Go-to-Market & Business Development

Represent Salesforce Digital in the Canadian market, connecting clients and account teams to Slalom’s broader Digital capabilities and expertise.
Be accountable for driving Salesforce Digital sales, pipeline, and revenue growth across Canada.
Partner with Canadian market and account leaders to identify, shape, and advance Salesforce Digital and MarTech opportunities.
Build strong relationships with Salesforce leaders and sellers to develop joint opportunities and go-to-market motions.
Lead strategic pursuits from discovery through solutioning, proposals, executive presentations, and close.
Lead executive conversations and workshops that connect customer strategy, business value, and technology.

MarTech & Solution Leadership

Serve as a senior MarTech and Salesforce Digital SME for strategic Canadian opportunities and clients.
Help clients define customer engagement and MarTech strategies grounded in their business and customer needs.
Shape solutions spanning marketing, commerce, loyalty, experience, content, data, and AI.
Guide platform, architecture, integration, and solution decisions across Salesforce Digital and the broader MarTech ecosystem.
Partner with architects and technical teams to ensure solutions are credible, scalable, and aligned to intended business outcomes.

Capability Development

Strengthen Salesforce Digital expertise and delivery capacity within Canada in partnership with broader Salesforce Digital leadership.
Mentor and develop consultants across Salesforce Digital and MarTech.
Connect Canadian teams to broader Salesforce Digital expertise, offerings, accelerators, and communities.
Contribute thought leadership, reusable solutions, and best practices that strengthen Slalom’s Salesforce Digital capability.
Delivery Management
Contribute in billable strategic, advisory, solution architecture, delivery leadership, or technical leadership roles on key Canadian accounts, with a 65% target utilization.
Provide senior oversight from pursuit through delivery, maintaining continuity between the client vision and delivered solution.
Partner with delivery teams to ensure solution quality, effective execution, and successful client outcomes.

What You’ll Bring

10+ years of experience in consulting, MarTech, digital transformation, customer experience, Salesforce, or related technology disciplines.
Consulting or professional services experience with demonstrated success in senior client-facing roles.
Deep understanding of marketing technology and modern customer engagement, extending beyond a single platform or product.
Strong Salesforce Digital experience across Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Loyalty Management, and Experience Cloud, with experience in Contentful or modern content platforms highly valued.
Understanding of how Salesforce Digital connects with CRM, Data Cloud, AI, identity, integration, analytics, and the broader MarTech ecosystem.
Ability to translate business and customer objectives into technology strategies, solution architectures, and actionable roadmaps.
Strong experience in technical pre-sales, solution consulting, and complex pursuits from discovery through close.
Experience serving as a solution lead, delivery lead, or senior SME on complex, multi-capability engagements.
Executive presence and the ability to engage cross-functionally with CIOs, CMOs, CTOs, and other senior client executives on business and technology strategy.
Experience with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies, including program management and the software delivery lifecycle.
Strong storytelling, facilitation, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor complex concepts and materials to both business and technical audiences.
Active Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification(s) required. Additional Salesforce certifications are preferred, with the ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire.
Ability to travel as needed.
