What We're Looking For:

Smardt is seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer with experience in a manufacturing environment, committed to safety, quality, and efficiency. Proven ability to support production operations and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:

Load, unload, and move raw materials and finished products
Break down and dispose of packaging materials, including wooden crates
Wrap chillers and prepare products for shipment
Empty garbage and recycling bins regularly
Operate basic machinery and tools in accordance with safety standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Operate overhead cranes and forklifts safely (with certification)
Follow 6S standards to ensure a clean, organized, and safe workplace
Follow supervisor instructions and production schedules
Collaborate with other departments to meet daily production targets
Be available to work occasional overtime.

All other related duties as assigned

Résumé du Rôle

Smardt est à la recherche d' un Ouvrier Général fiable et travaillant, avec expérience en milieu manufacturier, engagé envers la sécurité, la qualité et l’efficacité. Capacité démontrée à soutenir les opérations de production et à travailler efficacement dans un environnement rapide.

Principales Responsabilités

Charger, décharger et déplacer les matières premières et produits finis
Démonter et éliminer les matériaux d’emballage, y compris les caisses en bois
Emballer les refroidisseurs (« chillers ») et préparer les produits pour l’expédition
Vider régulièrement les poubelles et le recyclage
Utiliser des machines et outils de base en respectant les normes de sécurité
Maintenir un espace de travail propre, organisé et sécuritaire
Opérer des ponts roulants et des chariots élévateurs en toute sécurité (avec certification)
Respecter les normes 6S afin d’assurer un environnement de travail propre, organisé et sécuritaire
Suivre les instructions du superviseur et les horaires de production
Collaborer avec d'autres départments pour atteindre les objectifs de production quotidiens
Disponible à faire des heures supplémentaires à l'occasion.
