Network Engineer
Mississauga-Ontario-CA (1Day Onsite 4Days Remote)
Mandatory skill set
- Ability to troubleshoot and upgrade Cisco routers Cisco Nexus Catalyst Switches Cisco SDWAN Cisco Palo Alto CheckPoint Firewalls and F5 Load Balancers
- Ability and skilled to perform routerswitch network hardwaresoftware upgrades
- Hands on experience in Routing Protocol Development BGP OSPF VPN and Static providing IP Addressing Strategy NAT ReAddressing WAN IP Routed Network Integration Wireless LAN technologies
- Hands on experience on wireless technologies eg Meraki Aruba
- Hands on experience in cisco catalyst and Nexus 7k and 9k switches
- Hands on experience to work on NAC solutions eg Cisco ISE
- Experience with LAN routing switching Security Voice and Wireless LAN products
- Knowledge of network protocols VPN OSPF BGP TCPIP
- Knowledge of Cisco Nexus and Datacenter support
- Experience and hands on with Cisco ACS Cisco DNACPublic DNS services
- Providing Network Engineering services in support of the large enterprise customer data networks
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills are essential
- Proven analytic skills and the ability to isolate and resolve complex issues
Good to have

Responsibilities
Provide network engineering support for a large enterprise customer data network, including troubleshooting and upgrading routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. Support routing, switching, security, wireless, WAN integration, and related network services while diagnosing and resolving complex issues.
Requirements
Requires at least 10 years of hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting network devices, with expertise in Cisco routers and switches, firewalls, F5 load balancers, routing protocols, VPNs, and wireless technologies. Strong written and verbal communication and analytical skills are required; CCNP certification and experience with cloud networking, Cisco ACS, DNAC, and public DNS are advantageous.
