Role - Network Engineer
Location - Calgary, AB T2P 0T1 (5 Days Onsite/Week)

Job description
A Network Engineer is responsible for the setup configuration running network deployments and buildouts This includes but not limited to hands on work in a datacenter lab environment buildouts deployments configuring network elements to pass traffic through the test setup configuring a traffic generator troubleshooting issues with the baseline test setup gathering test data analyzing the test data for root causes and building test reports working with stakeholders and DCS teams
- MUST CCNP level networking Python Good to have Powershell basics required
- Skills Routing protocols such as BGP Link State Algorithm VXLAN EBGP MPLS RSVP with Traffic Engineering knowledge as well as practical experience including troubleshooting and good to have design experience
- Python Scripting Level Basic coding experience
- 4+ years experience in network buildout deployments
- 4+ years experience with Datacenter Switches and Routers Arista Cisco Juniper
- Experience with one or more Network element OS EOS NXOS IOS JUNOS SONiC
- Experience with Layer 2 Protocols VLAN Bridges Ethernet
- Good knowledge in Python or PowerShell scripting
- Previous MS experience is PLUS
- Good change management network troubleshooting skills
- Firewall management

Responsibilities
Build, deploy, configure, and troubleshoot network elements in data center and lab environments, including configuring traffic generators and test setups. Gather and analyze test data, identify root causes, prepare test reports, and coordinate with stakeholders and data center services teams.
Requirements
Requires at least four years of experience in network buildouts and deployments, and four years working with data center switches and routers from vendors such as Arista, Cisco, or Juniper. Candidates must have CCNP-level networking knowledge, practical experience with routing and switching protocols, and basic Python coding; basic PowerShell knowledge is also required.
