Original job description

What you’ll do

  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Argo CD) that take code from commit to production safely
  • Provision cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP with Terraform, Pulumi, Bicep, or CloudFormation, with every change reviewed and versioned
  • Run containerized workloads on Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE), including Helm charts and GitOps workflows
  • Automate configuration, patching, environment setup, and onboarding with Python, Bash, Go, or Ansible
  • Build self-service tooling and “golden paths” so developers can spin up environments without filing tickets
  • Build observability with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, or OpenTelemetry, with alerts that mean something
  • Embed security into delivery (DevSecOps): secrets management, image and dependency scanning, policy-as-code, and least-privilege access
  • Support compliance requirements (SOC 2, PIPEDA, and industry-specific rules) with automated evidence instead of manual screenshots
  • Improve release safety with canary deployments, feature flags, and automated rollbacks
  • Reduce cloud spend through right-sizing, scheduling, and cost visibility (FinOps)
  • Use AI-assisted tooling to speed up pipeline troubleshooting, code review, and incident analysis
  • Document systems and teach teams to use what you build
  • Partner with developers, QA, security, and SRE to remove friction wherever you find it

Find your level

  • Level Typical experience What you’ll own
  • DevOps Engineer I - 0-2 years : Pipeline maintenance, scripting, monitoring, and scoped automation, learning our platform with a dedicated mentor

  • Senior DevOps Engineer - 5+ years : Architecting the delivery platform, setting standards, leading major initiatives, shaping cloud and release strategy

Promotion criteria are written down at every level, with regular career conversations. You can grow as a deep technical specialist or toward leadership. Both paths are real here.
