Original job description

What you'll do

Own the digital growth plan across paid search, paid social, SEO, email, lifecycle, affiliate, and partnerships, tied to revenue and customer targets
Build and manage marketing budgets, forecast return, and reallocate spend weekly based on what the data shows
Set up and maintain measurement: GA4, server-side tagging, UTM standards, CRM integration, attribution models, and marketing mix analysis
Run a structured experimentation program: hypotheses, A/B and multivariate tests, and a shared log of results
Manage the full funnel with sales and product teams: lead quality, conversion rates, CAC, LTV, payback period, and retention
Lead lifecycle and CRM marketing in HubSpot, Salesforce, Klaviyo, Braze, or similar, including segmentation, scoring, and automation
Direct SEO and content strategy, including technical SEO, topic authority, and AI search visibility
Plan and run bilingual (English and French) campaigns, with Quebec-specific messaging and compliance with Quebec's Charter of the French Language where it applies [if applicable]
Ensure every campaign follows CASL (consent and unsubscribe rules), PIPEDA, provincial privacy laws including Quebec's Law 25, and Competition Bureau and Ad Standards guidelines
Run cross-border campaigns for Canada and US audiences, with currency, shipping, and tax messaging handled correctly [if applicable]
Build AI-assisted workflows for research, creative variations, reporting, and audience analysis, with human review for accuracy, brand voice, and privacy
Manage agencies, freelancers, and vendors against clear performance targets
Coach marketers on your team and build a culture of testing and learning
Present results and recommendations to executives in plain, numbers-first language

Digital Marketing Manager II - 4-7 years : The multi-channel plan and budget for a business line, a small team or agency partners, measurement and attribution, advising leadership
Senior Digital Marketing Manager - 7+ years : Digital growth strategy across the business, larger budgets and teams, alignment with sales, product, and finance, the marketing roadmap

Promotion criteria are written down at every level, with regular career conversations. Many of our managers have moved into head of growth, marketing director, and VP roles.

This is a management role, so the first level assumes hands-on experience. If you're a strong specialist ready to lead, we want to hear from you.

What you bring

Must have

Hands-on experience running paid and organic digital programs, ideally across more than one channel
Strong analytical skills, with comfort in GA4, dashboards, and spreadsheets
Experience managing a budget and tying activity to business outcomes
Clear communication with senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners
A coaching mindset and a willingness to lead through influence
Degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (including Canadian college marketing programs), or equivalent experience. We hire for results and judgment, not pedigree.
Legal authorization to work in Canada (citizens, permanent residents, and valid work permit holders)

Nice to have (not required)

Certifications: Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta Blueprint, HubSpot, CMA credentials, or similar (we'll pay for them)
Experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, Klaviyo, Braze)
Knowledge of attribution, incrementality testing, or marketing mix modeling
Familiarity with CASL, PIPEDA, Law 25, and Canadian advertising standards
SQL, Looker Studio, or Power BI skills for self-serve analysis
Experience in B2B demand generation, e-commerce, or subscription businesses
Experience managing agencies or a small team
Fluency in French, a strong asset for Quebec markets and bilingual campaigns [if applicable]
Industry background in [retail and e-commerce, financial services, healthcare, SaaS, travel, nonprofit, etc.]
