- What you’ll do
- Build and maintain backend services, REST APIs, and web applications using C# and ASP.NET Core
- Develop modern front ends with Blazor, React, Angular, or Razor, depending on the product
- Design data access and models with Entity Framework Core, Dapper, and SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Azure SQL
- Create microservices and event-driven systems using Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar
- Deploy to Azure (or AWS) using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
- Write clean, tested code with xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest, plus integration tests and thoughtful code reviews
- Modernize legacy .NET Framework applications by migrating them to current .NET, step by step and safely
- Secure applications with OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, Azure AD / Entra ID, and OWASP practices
- Monitor and troubleshoot production with Application Insights, Serilog, Grafana, or Datadog
- Improve performance, reliability, and maintainability as you go
- Work in Agile teams with product managers, designers, and QA from idea to launch

- .NET Developer I - 0-2 years : Well-scoped features and fixes, learning our codebase with a dedicated mentor and regular code review
- .NET Developer II - 2-5 years : Delivering features end to end, designing APIs and data models, leading small migrations, mentoring newer developers
- Senior .NET Developer - 5+ years : Architecting services, setting technical direction, leading modernization and cloud initiatives, raising the engineering bar
- Promotion criteria are written down at every level, with regular career conversations. You can grow as a technical expert or toward leadership. Both paths are real here.
What you bring
Must have
- Solid C# and object-oriented programming fundamentals
- Experience building applications or APIs with .NET (ASP.NET Core preferred; .NET Framework experience is welcome)
- Working knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and RESTful API design
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
- A habit of testing your work and explaining your decisions clearly
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Bootcamp graduates and self-taught developers are welcome. We hire for skill, not pedigree.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada (citizens, permanent residents, and valid work permit holders)
Nice to have (not required)
- Experience with Entity Framework Core, LINQ, async/await patterns, and dependency injection
- Azure experience: App Service, Functions, Service Bus, Key Vault, Cosmos DB
- Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code (Bicep, Terraform)
- Familiarity with clean architecture, domain-driven design, CQRS, or microservices
- Front-end skills: Blazor, TypeScript, React, or Angular
- Certifications: Microsoft AZ-204, AZ-900, AZ-305, or Azure Developer Associate
- Experience migrating from .NET Framework to modern .NET
- Industry background in [financial services, insurance, healthcare, government, SaaS, logistics, etc.]
- Fluency in French, an asset for roles serving Quebec or bilingual teams [if applicable]
- GitHub projects, open-source contributions, or apps you’ve shipped
