What You'll Do

Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned client groups, including creating compelling job postings, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, preparing offers, and administering contract renewals and extensions. Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
Develop and execute targeted recruitment strategies, including proactive sourcing approaches.
Lead the co-operative education program for assigned client groups, overseeing the full program lifecycle and cultivating relationships with university and college career centres.
Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, including workplace accommodations, performance improvement plans, and employment terminations.
Coordinate Joint Health and Safety Committee activities for assigned locations, ensure compliance with applicable provincial legislation, manage WSIB claims, and support return-to-work processes as required.
Serve as a point of contact for employees, providing timely support with leaves of absence, relocations, offboarding, policy interpretation, and other HR-related inquiries.
Analyze workforce trends and HR metrics for assigned client groups, translating data into practical insights that support informed decision-making, business objectives, and employee engagement.
Coordinate the annual promotion nomination cycle, including timeline management, stakeholder communications, and submission tracking.
Support immigration and employee work authorization matters, ensuring timely follow-up and compliance with applicable requirements.
Lead or coordinate assigned HR projects and initiatives, ensuring effective execution and alignment with departmental and organizational priorities.
Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies, as well as learning and development programs across the organization.
Maintain current knowledge of HR trends, leading practices, legislative developments, emerging technologies, talent management, and employment law.

Who You Are

A bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation.
Progressive HR experience in a corporate environment preferred, with a strong background in talent acquisition, employee relations, and occupational health and safety.
A self-starter with strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and project management abilities.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong analytical skills and demonstrated experience using best practices to improve HR processes.
Excellent time management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across competing priorities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including the ability to build spreadsheets using VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, and basic macros.
Experience managing tight deadlines during fast-paced cycles.
Experience using applicant tracking systems.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
