Original job description

SMS Equipment is currently recruiting Heavy Equipment Technicians to join our growing Timmins branch and support the construction side of our business. This is a resident position based in White River, Ontario; candidates must currently live in the area or be willing to relocate. In this role, you will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, service, and maintain excavators, loaders, dozers, mini excavators, and other construction equipment, helping ensure safe and reliable operation for our customers.

We’re looking for individuals who take pride in their work, enjoy solving complex mechanical challenges, and are comfortable supporting customers wherever their equipment is working. You may complete repairs at customer locations, contractor or mine sites, roadside locations, construction sites, remote bush locations, or in a service bay at our Timmins shop. Maintain accurate service records and documentation
Adapt to changing service locations and working conditions while safely supporting customer and contractor equipment in the field or at the Timmins shop

What You Bring
