Job Description Business Analyst Systems
- Understand business processes and engage with project teams to explore technical solutions and provide solution recommendations.
- Champion and educate project construction and lease operation team members on technical solutions, tools, and fact-based development and analytics by investigating invoice, purchase order, and/or data discrepancies providing solutions for external vendors.
- Engage and collaborate with Continuous Improvement Leads to create best-in-class solutions and deliver transformational process efficiencies using industry leading tools such as Process Automation, Tableau Dashboards, Data Management.
- Evaluate, plan, and implement improvements using technical practices to address business processes and underlying technology.
- Support projects through business systems analysis, development and maintenance support for Real Estate & Construction applications.
- Support the System Development Life Cycle multi complexity projects spanning multiple platforms or solutions consisting of complex conversions, integration and/or new development.
- Responsible for the development and maintenance support of IT application standards for design, development and support of technical business solutions.
- Liaise with external application vendors and internal IT support infrastructure as appropriate to plan for and facilitate the installation and configuration of new or upgraded solutions.
- Support the business teams with developing automated workflows minimizing user touch points
- Develop reports and dashboards to drive insights from large volumes of data from SAP, SQL, tango real estate solutions software, and ad hoc reference tables.
- Foster a project environment that encourages employee engagement and motivates team members.
- Support objectives of all Real Estate and CI work through Tango real estate software.
- Regularly refresh non automated reporting for cross functional managers, directors, and VP’s with data pulls.
- Troubleshoot vendor PO and invoice issues with diplomacy and expediency through tango real estate third party software and SAP.
- Conduct ad hoc data requests for executive reporting.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, and/or Business or have equivalent experience in IT, Engineering, or business roles.
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in solutions and databases with emphasis on VBA/macros, SQL, and Power Automate (must have)
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience working with Tableau, Power BI and/or other Reporting/Dashboard Tools (must have).
- Tango real estate solutions planning software experience an asset.
- Knowledge of database management and processes an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to reengineer processes to make them more efficient.
- Advanced development experience with macros, workflow creation, and process automation.
- Demonstrated experience working in project teams and delivering solutions in a timely manner.
- Experience with Technical Solution Mapping, Development, and Implementation.
- Strong analytical, oral communication, information presentation, and technical writing abilities.
- Ability to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, by translating technical concepts for senior level management and to understand the needs of the business and translate it into a technical solution.
- Ability to independently prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure collaborative environment.
