Job Description

The Details 

Position: 3rd Cook

Unit: Ascot in Stewart, BC

Point of Hire Location: Terrace, BC

Rotation: 28 days in/14 days out

Wage: $24.04 per hour

What You'll Do

This isn’t your average job. You’ll be part of a team that keeps remote sites running smoothly. Whether you're preparing meals, maintaining facilities, or supporting daily operations, your work makes a real impact. You’ll help create a safe, comfortable, and energizing environment for workers living far from home.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Supporting the Chef to deliver on defined day to day activities for our client contract regarding all Food Service Delivery in a cafeteria style kitchen.
• You will use your skills to assist in creating an excellent food service offering for the clients and guests of this site
• General food production, cooking, serving as well as other duties assigned
• Follow all the different Sodexo Programs: Food Safety, Health and Safety, policies and procedures, as well as marketing 

Qualifications

What you'll bring:

• Minimum of 1-2 years in a similar role (high volume establishment preferred)
• Red Seal is an asset
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience working as part of a team
• Experience cooking with breakfast items
• Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills
• Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Ability to work under pressure and meet established goals and objectives
• Ensure health and safety procedures are being followed
