Job Description

We're looking for friendly, dependable, and energetic team members to join our Good Earth Coffeehouse team at Foothills Medical Centre.

As a Barista, you'll play an important role in creating a positive experience for every guest by preparing quality beverages, serving food, and providing exceptional customer service. Whether you're making specialty coffee drinks, helping a healthcare worker start their day, or assisting a visitor during a difficult time, every interaction matters.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy, working as part of a team, and creating a welcoming environment for others.

What You'll Do

• Prepare coffee, espresso, tea, and specialty beverages
• Serve food and baked goods
• Operate the point-of-sale system and handle cash transactions
• Provide friendly and professional customer service
• Stock and replenish products throughout the shift
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment
• Assist with merchandising and display presentation
• Support teammates during busy service periods
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cash-handling procedures

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
• Dependable and punctual with good attendance habits
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Previous experience as a Barista, Cashier, Food Service Worker, Server, or in a customer service role is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
