What is the Job About?
- Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you would be responsible for boiler operation of a high-pressure boiler.
- You will be responsible for maintaining all mechanical equipment and systems in the plant.
- And performing daily pre-operational inspections and repairs as necessary.
What You’ll Bring:
- You have a 4th Class Power Engineering ticket.
- You have at least two (2) years' experience of performing repairs in a food processing plant.
- You are knowledgeable in mechanical, electrical and refrigeration systems.
- You are able to use power and manual tools.
- Having a Provincial Millwright Journeyman certificate or a recognized inter-provincial equivalent is an asset.
- You can read, write and communicate in English.
- You can provide documentation to prove eligibility to work in Canada.

Responsibilities
Operate the plant’s high-pressure boiler and maintain mechanical equipment and systems. Perform daily pre-operational inspections and complete repairs as needed.
Requirements
A 4th Class Power Engineering ticket and at least two years of repair experience in a food processing plant are required. Candidates should know mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems, be able to use power and manual tools, communicate in English, and provide proof of eligibility to work in Canada; a millwright journeyman certificate or recognized equivalent is an asset.
