· Develop, validate, and verify technical requirements for the flight control system.

· Draft and/or review technical requirements.

· Draft and/or review test procedures.

· Execute bench and/or aircraft testing.

· Draft and/or review test reports in support of certification activities.

· Resolve issues encountered on in-service aircraft.

· Perform troubleshooting, determine root causes, and define and implement corrective actions.

· Ensure compliance with the ARP4754 development process.

· Participate in trade-off studies and life cycle cost analyses for future programs.

· Ensure the design process and equipment implementation comply with company requirements and standards.

· Perform occasional travel to suppliers and regulatory authorities, as well as on-site support at final assembly lines (Toronto and Montreal, as well as in the United States).

YOUR PROFILE IS ESSENTIAL TO OUR SUCCESS 💎

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and a minimum of 7 years of experience in the aerospace industry.

· Experience in the definition and certification of at least one Fly-by-Wire (FBW) system and/or Secondary Flight Control system.

· Strong understanding of aircraft systems and interfaces (electrical, hydraulic, avionics, autopilot) as well as the Part 25 certification process.

· Experience in modeling and simulation of flight control systems (an asset), with proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow.

· Familiarity with tools such as ADAMS and CATIA (an asset), as well as MS Office and requirements management tools (an asset).

· Bilingual in French and English.

· Strong communication skills, technical judgment, initiative, and results-oriented mindset.

· Développer, valider et vérifier les exigences techniques du système de commandes de vol.

· Rédiger et/ou revoir les exigences techniques.

· Rédiger et/ou revoir les procédures d’essais.

· Exécuter des essais sur banc d’essai et/ou sur aéronef.

· Rédiger et/ou revoir les rapports d’essais en support aux activités de certification.

· Résoudre les problématiques rencontrées sur les aéronefs en service.

· Réaliser le diagnostic, déterminer les causes racines et définir puis mettre en œuvre les actions correctives.

· Assurer la conformité au processus de développement ARP4754.

· Participer aux études de compromis (trade-off) et aux analyses de coûts du cycle de vie pour les futurs programmes.

· S’assurer que le processus de conception et l’implémentation des équipements respectent les exigences et standards de l’entreprise.

· Effectuer des déplacements occasionnels chez les fournisseurs et les autorités réglementaires, ainsi que du support sur site à la chaîne d’assemblage final (Toronto et Montréal, ainsi qu’aux États-Unis)
