Finance Project Manager, Finance Transformation
Contract | Montreal, QC | Hybrid, 3 days on-site
We're hiring a Finance Project Manager to join a finance transformation team supporting the finance and tax functions of a BFSI client. You'll run PMO coordination, end-to-end finance process reviews, and automation projects.
What you'll do
- Coordinate PMO work across regulatory reporting, head office alignment, and process standardization
- Lead end-to-end finance process reviews, from documenting current state to driving improvements
- Deliver automation projects such as data loaders, GL reconciliation, and cost of funding
- Act as both BA and PM: map processes, ask the right questions, drive outcomes
- Engage stakeholders from operations up to senior finance leadership
What you bring
- 6+ years of experience in finance transformation
- Strong understanding of CFO processes: GL reconciliation, variance analysis, regulatory reporting, accounting systems
- Advanced, hands-on Power BI (Power Query, DAX, complex functions)
- Alteryx experience is a strong plus
- Finance process experience from any industry. Banking is a plus.
- French is a strong advantage
This role suits finance transformation profiles with hands-on process and data work. Pure IT or ERP project management backgrounds will not be a fit.
