About the Role
We are seeking an experienced ITAM Risk, Process & Operations to support and strengthen enterprise IT Asset Management (ITAM) practices. This role will focus on ITAM governance, risk management, process improvement, operational controls, and asset lifecycle management across hardware, software, cloud, and configuration management environments.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in ITAM operations, technology risk, compliance, audit readiness, and process design, with the ability to collaborate across technology, operations, and governance teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and improve ITAM processes, controls, and governance frameworks.
- Identify operational risks and control gaps across the asset lifecycle.
- Develop and implement sustainable controls, procedures, and process documentation.
- Partner with stakeholders to enhance asset inventory accuracy, reconciliation, and data quality.
- Support audit, compliance, risk assessments, and remediation activities.
- Design operational metrics, dashboards, and governance reporting.
- Drive process optimization and ensure adherence to ITAM best practices.
- Prepare executive-level reports and documentation for governance reviews.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in IT Asset Management, Technology Risk, IT Operations, Audit, Compliance, or related domains.
- Strong understanding of ITAM lifecycle management, asset inventories, CMDB, configuration management, and data governance.
- Experience designing and evaluating controls, procedures, and risk frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM/ITAM platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in large enterprise or regulated environments.
- Knowledge of ITIL, COBIT, NIST, ISO 19770, or related frameworks.
- Exposure to Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), and Cloud Asset Management.
- Certifications such as ITIL, CISA, CRISC, CISSP, COBIT, or IAITAM certifications are an asset.
