Scope of the Position
Major Projects Account Manager: acts as liaison between a company and its high-value clients, overseeing the entire lifecycle of large-scale, high-budget initiatives. They are responsible for securing contracts, coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring project delivery on time and budget, and driving long-term strategic growth.

Major Responsibilities

Strategic Client Leadership: Develop and maintain executive level relationships with major clients, proactively assessing evolving business needs to ensure sustained satisfaction, trust, and partnership longevity.
Project & Workflow Oversight: Manage high visibility projects from initial scoping and quoting through execution and delivery. Coordinate seamlessly with operations, purchasing, and other internal teams to ensure alignment and timely outcomes.
Commercial Growth: Identify and pursue cross-selling and upselling opportunities within accounts. Drive incremental revenue, and close new business aligned with strategic priorities.
Proposal & Contract Management: Lead Requests for Quotations (RFQs), develop comprehensive project scopes, prepare competitive proposals, and negotiate profitable terms and conditions that support both customer value and organizational margin objectives.
Financial & Performance Tracking: Oversee project budgets, track key performance indicators, and provide regular reporting on account performance, profitability, and return on investment (ROI).
Preform regular and scheduled calls on assigned accounts.
Provide assistance and product support to customer in a timely manner.
Promote Robertson Electric by ensuring each account receives product line card and other company literature made available to you.
Stay up to date on market trends and new products to promote Robertson’s Suppliers to multiple accounts in a knowledgeable manner.
Stay attuned to performance of accounts using tools provided.
Coordinates, lead and attend scheduled sales meetings.
Attend manufacturers training when provided. This may be after business hours on some occasions.
Work together with sales team to ensure projects are quoted and tracked accurately in order to meet established timelines.
