Regional Training Professional
Join Sonova as a Regional Training Professional and help develop the training strategies, frameworks and resources that support operational excellence across Canada and Mexico.
In this newly created regional role, you will partner with local Training teams and stakeholders across Operations, Engineering, Quality and Human Resources to standardize training programs, strengthen trainer capabilities and improve visibility into workforce skills and qualifications. Rather than providing daily operator training, you will build scalable tools and resources that enable local trainers to deliver consistent, effective learning experiences.
Responsibilities:

Develop and support the regional training roadmap, governance model and standardized processes in alignment with operational and business priorities.

Design scalable training curricula, learning frameworks and materials, including presentations, job aids, trainer guides, videos, e-learning content and assessments.

Translate complex engineering, process, quality and work-instruction content into clear, practical learning solutions for technical and production audiences.

Create train-the-trainer resources, trainer-qualification criteria, learning paths and proficiency assessments that enable local teams to deliver consistent training.

Lead training-readiness activities for new product introductions, process changes, technology deployments and site-to-site transfers.

Develop and maintain training databases, dashboards and standardized reports that provide visibility into skills, qualifications, readiness and capability gaps.

Measure training effectiveness, identify improvement opportunities and facilitate the sharing of best practices across regional sites.
More about you:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Operations, Training, Organizational Development or a related field.

Approximately 3–5 years of experience in technical training, manufacturing, operations or another process-driven environment.

Demonstrated experience creating training curricula and learning frameworks for technical or operational audiences.

Strong communication, facilitation, project-management and stakeholder-management skills.

Experience with training databases, dashboards, learning-management systems or electronic training records is an asset.

Experience creating videos, e-learning or other multimedia learning content is an asset.

Medical-device, regulated-manufacturing, engineering or operations experience is preferred.

Ability to work onsite in Kitchener three days per week and travel between sites, including potential international travel. Reliable transportation is required.
The annual base salary range for this position is $73,600–$92,000 CAD
