Soroc is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer on hybrid contract for one of our banking clients in Toronto.
Seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer with strong technical expertise in the following areas:
- Tanium: Managed enterprise endpoints, deployed patches, monitored compliance, and automated endpoint management tasks.
- Qualys: Performed vulnerability scans, analyzed findings, prioritized remediation, and worked with infrastructure teams to resolve vulnerabilities.
- Infrastructure engineering: Supported large Windows and/or Linux server environments, ideally in banking, insurance, financial services, or another regulated enterprise.
- Scripting and automation: Used PowerShell, Python, Bash, or APIs to automate patching, remediation, reporting, and operational tasks.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Worked with security, infrastructure, application support, and IT operations teams to implement changes at scale.

Responsibilities
Manage enterprise endpoints using Tanium, including patch deployment, compliance monitoring, and automation of endpoint tasks. Use Qualys to scan for vulnerabilities, prioritize and coordinate remediation, and collaborate with security, infrastructure, application support, and IT operations teams to implement changes at scale.
Requirements
The role seeks an experienced infrastructure security engineer with strong Tanium and Qualys expertise and experience supporting large Windows and/or Linux server environments. Scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or APIs are expected; experience in banking, insurance, financial services, or another regulated enterprise is preferred.
