Work Model: Hybrid

Who We Are

It all started with a classic story about one developer’s vision. In 1995, Carl Rodrigues, President and CEO of SOTI, has developed solutions for managing mobile device screens from a desktop. An innovation that has put him ahead in what is now one of the largest growing markets – Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM). Today, more than 17,000 enterprise customers around the world depend on us to secure, manage, and support their mobile operations, with millions of devices managed worldwide.

SOTI’s two decades of success has built strong partnerships with leading mobile platform providers and device manufacturers. We are deeply committed to researching and developing solutions that address today’s toughest mobility challenges. We strive to go where nobody has gone before.

What We’re Looking For

What’s In It for You?

The People - From our humble origins in our founder’s basement to our industry-leading position today, SOTI has worked hard to foster a company culture that we can all believe in. A culture that emphasizes personal growth, continuous innovation, and fun.

The Growth - Our environment fosters new ideas, fresh perspectives, and the ability to take them over the goal line. SOTI is a fast-paced environment with a global reach that encourages you to make your mark and be part of something big!

The Technology - You’ll get the chance to work with leading-edge technologies and take on complex and interesting projects as part of highly collaborative and agile teams. You will work alongside SOTI’s partners which include leading tech giants that will keep you on the cusp of emerging technologies.

What You'll Do

Contribute to the development and maintenance of reliable, secure, and scalable test automation frameworks.

Perform automated and manual testing across the product lifecycle, with an approximately 50/50 split.

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to understand requirements and create effective test scenarios.

Write and maintain automated tests for functionality, regression, performance, and reliability.

Investigate test failures, document defects clearly, support root-cause analysis, and verify fixes.

Help develop tools and utilities that improve test coverage, execution efficiency, and reliability.

Maintain high standards for test code, technical documentation, and delivery quality.

Communicate testing progress, risks, and quality findings clearly and promptly to the team.

Learn and apply best practices in test design, code quality, continuous testing, and Agile delivery.

Experience You'll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

2+ years of experience as Software Development Engineer or (SDET) Software Development Engineer in Test role

Working knowledge of Java, .NET/C#, JavaScript, or another object-oriented programming language.

Solid understanding of software testing fundamentals, test design techniques, defect management, and QA processes.

Working experience with at least one automation tool or framework, such as Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Appium, Cucumber, or TestNG.

Working experience automating Android and iOS applications.

Experience testing frontend or backend applications; exposure to Angular and C# is an asset.

Experience with RESTful API testing and databases such as Microsoft SQL Server.

Good analytical, debugging, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Detail-oriented, curious, and eager to learn, with a strong interest in quality and test automation.

Experience working with Agile software development practices.

Nice To Have

Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.

Proficiency with Git and development tools such as Visual Studio or IntelliJ IDEA.

Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.

Experience creating, configuring, or testing with virtual machines.
