Job Title: Senior Software Developer

Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada

Work Model: Hybrid

Who We Are

It all started with a classic story about one developer’s vision. In 1995, Carl Rodrigues, President and CEO of SOTI, has developed solutions for managing mobile device screens from a desktop. An innovation that has put him ahead in what is now one of the largest growing markets – Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM). Today, more than 17,000 enterprise customers around the world depend on us to secure, manage, and support their mobile operations, with millions of devices managed worldwide.

SOTI’s two decades of success has built strong partnerships with leading mobile platform providers and device manufacturers. We are deeply committed to researching and developing solutions that address today’s toughest mobility challenges. We strive to go where nobody has gone before.

What We’re Looking For

If you’re ready to push boundaries and make a meaningful impact, SOTI is looking for a passionate developer to join our senior technology team - a group of experienced engineers focused on solving some of our most complex challenges across architecture, performance, and scalability.

This is an opportunity to go beyond simply building features. You’ll help shape the evolution of our products, influence key technical decisions, and work alongside talented engineers to design solutions that are robust, scalable, and built for the future.

If you thrive on solving complex problems, enjoy turning ambitious ideas into elegant technical solutions, and want your work to have a visible and lasting impact on products used at scale, we’d love to hear from you.

What’s in it for you?

The People - From our humble origins in our founder’s basement, to our industry leading position today, SOTI has worked hard to foster a company culture that we can all believe in. A culture that emphasizes personal growth, continuous innovation, and fun.

The Growth - Our environment fosters new ideas, fresh perspectives, and the ability to take them over the goal line. SOTI is a fast-paced environment with a global reach that encourages you to make your mark and be part of something big!

The Technology - You will get the chance to work with leading edge technologies and take on complex and interesting projects, as part of highly collaborative and agile teams. You will work alongside SOTI’s partners which include leading tech giants that will keep you on the cusp of emerging technologies.

What You’ll Do

Profile and optimize critical pathways
Deliver modules with high complexity on time, meeting functional, quality, and performance requirements
Maintain high standards of quality for code, technical documentation, and deliverables
Ability to understand and research unfamiliar code bases
Comfortable handling ambiguous or undefined problems and the ability to think abstractly
Provide leadership on implementation of software solutions in C# and .NET
Collaborate on projects with an all-star team comprised of varying skillsets through code reviews and design discussions
Work effectively in an Agile environment following and practicing Scrum processes
Maintain high-quality standards on all deliverables
Propose innovative solutions to address business problems
Continually upgrade technical and product know-how
Thrives in environments requiring self-motivation and independence

Experience You’ll Bring

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any STEM-related program
Experienced software developer focused on scalable server applications (8 years of experience)
Good understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, OOPS and Database concepts
Knowledgeable in C#, WebApi, .NET, Rest API, and networking technologies
Comfortable with Typescript, Angular, HTML, CSS and other front-end technologies
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Pride in ownership and passion for innovation
