Original job description

About the Role

We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our growing Canada team. In this role, you will play a key part in expanding Soundbox’s presence in the construction, commercial interiors, and home furnishing markets. You will identify new opportunities, build meaningful client relationships, and offer tailored acoustic and space-solution products that elevate modern work and living environments.

If you are passionate about business development, enjoy working with designers and project teams, and are eager to contribute to a fast-growing global brand, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve quarterly and annual targets.

Identify market trends and customer needs to propose professional, customized solutions.

Manage customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, designers, contractors, and end clients.

Support project-based opportunities, including quoting, coordination, and follow-through to completion.

We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Construction Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, Marketing, or related fields.

3+ year of sales experience in construction, commercial interiors, furniture, architectural products, or building materials.

Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate with clients, designers, engineers, and contractors.

A proactive, goal-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and adaptability.

Experience with key account management or project-based selling is a plus, but not required.

What We Offer

Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives.

A differentiated market niche with less internal competition and strong long-term growth potential.

Opportunities to work on diverse, high-impact commercial projects with leading industry partners.

A collaborative and supportive international team with room for professional development.

How to Apply

If you’re excited about this opportunity and believe your skills could contribute to our mission - even if you don’t meet every qualification - we encourage you to apply.

Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter via LinkedIn or email: emery@soundbox.hk

We look forward to learning about your strengths and perspective!
