We are currently seeking and have an immediate opening for a qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of Account Manager based out of Timmins, ON.

Summary:

Reporting to the Vice President of Soucie Salo, the Account Manager will manage and grow a portfolio of industrial and safety-focused accounts across Northern Ontario. The successful candidate will develop strong customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and deliver value-added solutions from Soucie Salo's portfolio of safety products, PPE, industrial supplies, and services.

Responsibilities:

Build and maintain long-term relationships with key industrial customers by understanding their needs and providing the right solutions.
Act as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring a consistent and positive customer experience.

Identify opportunities to support customers with personal protective equipment (PPE), safety products, industrial supplies, inventory management solutions, and related services.
Work directly with customers to review applications, site requirements, and product specifications to recommend appropriate solutions.
Collaborate closely with branch personnel, product specialists, vendor partners, and service teams to ensure customer needs are met.
Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers to obtain accurate technical, product, and pricing information.
Manage quotations, project documentation, customer records, and sales activities throughout the sales cycle.
Track account performance, sales activity, and key metrics to support business growth and customer retention.
Participate in product training, account reviews, industry events, and sales meetings as required.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Preference will be given to candidates with 2+ years of account management, outside sales, or related experience in a safety, industrial, technical, or similar environment.
Knowledge of industrial safety products, PPE, MRO supplies, mining, construction, or manufacturing operations is strongly preferred.
Post-secondary education in a related field is considered and/or relevant course completion in occupational health & safety would be an asset.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the Northern Ontario region as required
Strong ability to understand customer applications and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple customer priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to monitor sales performance, customer activity, and growth opportunities.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRMs, ERPs, as well as strong overall computer literacy.

In accordance with the provincial wage transparency requirements, the expected base compensation for this position is $60,000-$70,000 (or more depending on relevant experience, technical competencies, certifications, etc.) as well as a lucrative commission model, and access to a vehicle program.
