Job Title: Office Administrator - Trucking

Location: Peace River, AB

The Office Administrator, Trucking assists in the daily operations of the trucking organization, ensuring compliance with transportation regulations. Additionally, this role works very closely with the Trucking Administrator and provides administrative support to the Source Trucking department in general.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Administrative Assistance

Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Trucking Administrator and Source Trucking division
Assist with invoicing and daily reporting, fuel card management, and logbook audits
Creation and preparation of PO’s, match invoices to PO’s then forward to AP department
Order office supplies and maintain inventory
Assist with managing internal and external meetings and events
Provide employees with meeting assistance and tele-conferencing set-up
Assist HSE department with new hire orientations, and uploading training certificates and documents into Insight
PPE Inventory tracking and ordering
Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
Back up coverage for the Trucking Administrator and other administrative positions including Reception
Other duties as required and assigned

Who We’re Looking For:

Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in a similar role
Business Administration certificate or diploma an asset
Flexibility to adapt to dynamic situations in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy

Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Ability to coordinate multiple projects within tight timelines
Pro-active, enthusiastic and positive demeanor
Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Teams
