Original job description

For more than 60 years, our organization has supported members of over 44,000 unions and associations, including educators, first responders, healthcare professionals, veterans, and other working families.

Our team helps members understand supplemental benefit programs available to them and provides clear guidance throughout the process.

The individuals you’ll work with have already requested information, so this role does not involve door-to-door prospecting or traditional cold calling. Your focus is on connecting with interested members, understanding their needs, and helping them make informed decisions.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll work with members remotely through scheduled phone and video appointments. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Contacting individuals who have requested information about available benefits

  • Scheduling and conducting virtual appointments through Zoom or phone

  • Reviewing coverage options and answering client questions

  • Helping families determine which solutions best align with their needs

  • Assisting with digital applications and required documentation

  • Following up with members and maintaining long-term client relationships

  • Using established systems, scripts, and training resources

  • Participating in ongoing coaching and professional development

  • Working toward individual performance goals and advancement opportunities

The goal is to provide members with a professional, informative, and supportive experience from their initial appointment through ongoing service.

Who We’re Looking For

Prior industry experience is not required. We’re primarily looking for individuals who are dependable, motivated, and willing to learn.

Successful candidates typically have:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • A professional and positive attitude

  • Good organization and time-management abilities

  • Basic computer skills and comfort using online platforms

  • The ability to work independently in a remote environment

  • A strong work ethic and willingness to be coached

  • The ability to successfully complete a background check

Experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, sales, or other people-facing roles can be helpful, but full training is provided.

What We Provide

Our goal is to give new representatives the training, tools, and support needed to build a long-term career.

You’ll have access to:

  • 100% remote work

  • Flexible full-time scheduling

  • Comprehensive training from the start

  • Personalized coaching and ongoing mentorship

  • Weekly compensation

  • Performance-based bonus opportunities

  • Residual income potential

  • Clear advancement paths into leadership and management

  • Health, dental, and vision benefit options

  • Recognition and performance incentive programs

  • Company-sponsored travel opportunities for qualifying representatives

  • A collaborative team environment focused on development and growth

Build More Than a Job

This opportunity is designed for individuals who want greater control over their career trajectory.

As you develop your skills and performance, you’ll have opportunities to grow in areas such as client communication, relationship management, leadership, training, and business development.

With flexible remote work, ongoing mentorship, and advancement based on performance, you can build a career that offers both professional growth and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference for working families.
