Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Conduct requirement-gathering sessions, interviews, and workshops.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional requirements and user stories.
- Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
- Collaborate with developers, QA teams, product teams, and business stakeholders.
- Define acceptance criteria and support the testing/UAT process.
- Analyze business data and prepare reports to support decision-making.
- Track requirements throughout the project lifecycle and manage changes.
- Identify business risks, dependencies, and potential solutions.
- Prepare presentations and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support implementation, deployment, and post-implementation activities.
Required Skills
- Strong business and analytical thinking.
- Excellent requirement-gathering and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience creating BRD, FRD, user stories, use cases, and process flows.
- Good understanding of SQL and data analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, or similar tools.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to convert complex business requirements into clear and actionable specifications.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Power BI/Tableau.
- Basic knowledge of APIs and system integrations.
- Understanding of database concepts.
- Experience with process modelling and BPMN.
- Familiarity with Agile tools and ceremonies.
- Domain knowledge in areas such as finance, healthcare, retail, banking, or technology is an advantage.
