Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews, meetings, and requirement-gathering sessions.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical requirements.
- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Create process flows, workflows, use cases, and functional specifications.
- Work closely with developers, QA teams, product managers, and business stakeholders.
- Support solution design and ensure requirements are clearly understood by the development team.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate that solutions meet business requirements.
- Track requirements, changes, issues, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare reports, presentations, dashboards, and documentation for stakeholders.
- Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Support implementation, training, and post-production activities where required.
Required Skills
- Strong requirement-gathering and documentation skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and software development processes.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience creating BRD, FRD, user stories, use cases, and process flows.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear documentation.
- Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of SQL and basic data analysis.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Experience with process modeling tools such as Visio, Draw.io, or Lucidchart.
- Knowledge of Power BI or other reporting/visualization tools.
- Understanding of APIs and basic technical architecture.
- Domain experience in areas such as finance, banking, healthcare, e-commerce, or ERP is an advantage.
